  1. Scriptorium Font Library
  2.  
  3.     The Scriptorium Font Library is a 
  4. collection of fonts designed by Dave Nalle 
  5. of Ragnarok Games for use in their 
  6. publications.  These fonts have just been 
  7. made available by mailorder or as 
  8. shareware from Ragnarok.
  9.     Provided here is an up to date 
  10. listing of all the font disks available at this 
  11. time.  Each disk includes at least 10 
  12. fonts, which are fully registered when you 
  13. purchase the disk.
  14.  
  15. SFL-1001: Font Sampler I
  16.     This disk includes 3 text fonts, 3 
  17. calligraphic fonts, 3 display fonts and 3 
  18. specialty fonts taken from our original 
  19. series of font disks.  It includes our very 
  20. popular Taranis font as well as the new 
  21. Fabliaux font, the medieval calligraphic 
  22. fonts Bastarda and Courthand, plus two 
  23. fonts from the Ysgarth role-playing game 
  24. and the uniquely mystical Goetic font 
  25. based on 18th century magical scripts.

  28. SFL-1002: Font Sampler II
  29.     This contains a new variety 
  30. selection of fonts, including text, display, 
  31. decorative and calligraphic fonts taken 
  32. mostly from our second series of font 
  33. disks.  $15.  Update $5.

  35. SFL-2001: Text Fonts
  36.     This contains 10 unique serif and 
  37. sans-serif fonts which meet the high 
  38. resolution demands of all text uses.  The 
  39. collection includes some elegant 
  40. traditional fonts (both serif and sans-serif) 
  41. like our Tancred and Palomides fonts, 
  42. plus some very unusual offerings like the 
  43. Kelmscott font based on William Morris' 
  44. Troy font from the Kelmscott edition of 
  45. Chaucer's works.  $15.  Update $5.

  47. SFL-2002: More Text Fonts
  48.     A collection of sophisticated and 
  49. flexible text fonts based on classic styles 
  50. and on modern designs.  Includes 6 serif 
  51. fonts and 6 sans serif fonts.  Available in 
  52. Summer of 1993.  $15.  Update $5.

  54. SFL-3001: Display Fonts
  55.     This disk features 10 attractive 
  56. display fonts, including several art 
  57. nouveau and medieval styles, plus a 
  58. couple of unusual special use fonts.  Our 
  59. favorites are the Starfield font, which 
  60. looks like a scattered field of stars, the 
  61. Buccaneer font, drawn from 17th century 
  62. wanted posters and the Ariosto and 
  63. Elysian fonts based on hand drawn fonts 
  64. of the Munich Jugendstil movement of the 
  65. 1890s.  Because these are display fonts 
  66. they may not all include both upper and 
  67. lower case letters, but they include all 
  68. characters which are available and we will 
  69. expand the character sets as we continue 
  70. to work with them.  $15.  Update $5.

  72. SFL-3002: More Display Fonts
  73.     This disk features 12 new display 
  74. fonts, including a number of interesting 
  75. Art Nouveau and early modern book plate 
  76. styles, including Beaumarchais and 
  77. Cymbeline.  This disk is now available.

  80. SFL-4001: Calligraphic Fonts
  81.     This disk includes a variety of 
  82. calligraphic fonts, including several 
  83. Celtic-style fonts, fonts based on 
  84. medieval and renaissance calligraphy and 
  85. calligraphy from several 19th century art 
  86. nouveau designers.   Because these are 
  87. based on genuine calligraphy they may 
  88. not include all the characters you may 
  89. expect and may include specialty 
  90. characters or strange alternate forms for 
  91. some letters.  $15.  Update $5.

  93. SFL-4002: More Calligraphic Fonts
  94.     This disk includes a variety of 
  95. medieval English, French and Italian 
  96. lettering styles plus several Eastern 
  97. European styles and a special font based 
  98. on the calligraphy of Howard Pyle.  This 
  99. disk is now available. $15.  Update $5.
  100.  
  101. SFL-5001: Specialty Fonts
  102.     A collection of fonts for languages 
  103. which don't use the English alphabet, 
  104. including both obscure real world and 
  105. historical languages and role-playing 
  106. game world languages.  Check out the 
  107. Coptic and Futhark fonts if you want 
  108. something really different.  Oh, and did 
  109. you say you were going mad because you 
  110. couldn't decorate your computer-
  111. generated icons without Church Slavonic?  
  112. Well, try Patriarch.  It reads in English, but 
  113. looks like Church Slavonic.  $15.  Update

  116. SFL - 6001: Decorative Fonts
  117.     A special assortment of art fonts 
  118. where each letter is a decorative initial or 
  119. small picture.  It includes several 
  120. illuminated manuscript alphabets, a set of 
  121. Arthurian miniatures, a collection of map 
  122. decorations, a font of art nouveau faces 
  123. and some Art Nouveau floral motifs.  This 
  124. disk is not yet available, but it can be 
  125. advance ordered for $15.

  127. SFL - 7001: Runic Fonts
  128.     A collection of runic fonts, including 
  129. Scandinavian runes, Celtic Ogham script 
  130. and early medieval alphabets from 
  131. northern Europe.  Available Fall of 1993.

  134. UPDATE POLICY
  135.     Each of our font disks is updated 
  136. with new versions at least once every 
  137. three months, with updates being 
  138. released on the first of January, April, 
  139. July and October.  If you send in your 
  140. original disk and $5 we will update you 
  141. with the latest versions of all the fonts on 
  142. that disk.  Most of our fonts are brand 
  143. new, so expect pretty substantial changes 
  144. with some of the updates over the next 
  145. year or so.

  147. SHAREWARE NOTE
  148.     Support shareware.  If you see our 
  149. disks being circulated as unregistered 
  150. copies (without our shareware notice), let 
  151. us know...or let the culprit know that you 
  152. dont' approve.  These fonts are too 
  153. damned cheap for anyone NOT to pay 
  154. their shareware fee or order them on 
  155. disk.
